Notiz: Akonadi deinstallieren ohne gleich KDE zu deinstallieren

Nur eine kurze Notiz:

Akonadi geht mir schon länger auf die Nerven! Immer wieder mal baut sich eine MySQL Datenbank auf, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann. Und knappe 400 MB RAM, die ich lieber anders verwenden würde...

Akonadi deinstallieren

Um Akonadi loszuwerden reicht prinzipiell ein:
apt-get remove kmail libmailimporter4 kdepim-runtime


Allerdings kommt dieses Kommande mit der Konsequenz:
Die folgenden Pakete wurden automatisch installiert und werden nicht mehr benötigt:
akonadiconsole blogilo kalarm kde-telepathy-kpeople kdeartwork kdeartwork-style kdeartwork-theme-window kdeartwork-wallpapers kdenetwork kdenetwork-filesharing kdewebdev kfilereplace kget kimagemapeditor kjots klinkstatus knode kommander konsolekalendar kontact kppp krdc krfb ktimetracker libcomposereditorng4 libjs-mootools libkpeople3 libktorrent5 libktpcommoninternalsprivate7 libktpmodelsprivate7 libktpwidgetsprivate7 libqtglib-2.0-0 libtelepathy-glib0 libtelepathy-logger-qt4-1 libtelepathy-logger3 libtelepathy-qt4-2 libvncserver0

Schadensbegrenzung

Wenn man nun ein
apt-get install kdeartwork kdeartwork-style kdeartwork-theme-window kdeartwork-wallpapers
absetzt, will apt-get auf einmal beinahe das ganze KDE deinstallieren:

Da hilft nur, sich alle Pakete rauszusuchen, die man behalten möchte. In meinem Falle ergab das:

apt-get install plasma-wallpapers-addons plasma-widgets-addons network-manager kdeplasma-addons kdenetwork kleopatra libnetworkmanagerqt1 plasma-nm plasma-widget-networkmanagement


Und schon ist die Anzahl der zu deinstallierenden Pakete sehr überschaubar:

Nach einem beherzten
apt-get autoremove
ist die Sache auch schon erledigt...

Vielleicht erspart das ja mal jemandem die böse Überraschung auf einmal ohne Desktop dazustehen...

Nachtrag

Und wieder isses passiert! Nachdem ich vorhin meinen Rechner wieder angemacht habe, lief schon wieder diese dusselige mysqld! Da hilft nur
killall mysqld

Ich hab mal weiter lustig Pakete entfernt und werde diesen Artikel hier weiter auf dem Laufenden halten...
